Import Records

Create a CSV file of existing records

  1. The document must be in .csv format. 
  2. The CSV file can contain any number of arbitrary headers. Each header can be mapped to one of the following fields within our system:

Tags

The Tags field will accept a comma separated list of tags to apply to the record at import.

Custom Field

The Custom Field mapping will allow the organization to import any number of arbitrarily named fields that contain plain text values. For example, if the organization has a custom field for "Dietary Restrictions" within the CSV file:

Import the CSV File

  1. Under the “Constituents” tab on the dashboard, select “Import Records.”
  2. Select the “Import/Upload” box to upload the organization’s file of master records and click “Next.”
